    One of the world's largest repositories of on-line information hired Ray & Barney Group to recruit sales associates throughout the country. The client had planed to expand their sales team in a specific sales region over a period of time. Ray & Barney Group took a proactive and forward thinking approach by identifying and qualifying sales candidates before the hiring requisition was finalized, such that when a hiring requisition was approved, qualified candidates were available for interviewing. Ray & Barney Group built a bench of 40 to 50 qualified sales candidates. In a highly niche market, over 2000 prospective candidates were touched at competitors. In order to achieve that number, over a 6-month period, the candidate pool was lowered to 50 target candidates. As a result, the client has hired 5 sales associates in multiple locations in major cities across the country.     With a industry reputation for delivering excellent IT services and solutions within their region, this regional IT company handed Ray & Barney Group a significant challenge. Their reputation was suffering due to high turnover the company was experiencing. Ray & Barney Group was tasked with the responsibility of building and running the organization’s recruiting department. As growth goals were significant and new personnel was needed both to backfill open positions, as well as hire newly created openings, Ray & Barney Group faced a big challenge.
